Their involvement marks a significant step in raising the profile of our junior races and will allow us to continue to support the future of this sport.

Thanks to the support of Dwyfor supplies, we have been able to ensure that all our tea, coffee and biccies are Fair Trade so you can enjoy the tea tent after the race with an easy conscience.
First Hydro Company
First Hydro has been a been major supporter of the Snowdonia Marathon for a number of years. Without their support it would have been very difficult for us to establish Marathon Eryri Cyf. They contribute to a number of local events and we are grateful to them for their continued involvement in our race.
Gwynedd County Council
Gwynedd Council have helped us for many years in a number of ways. The support of the Events Commission was a great help in developing the race over the last few years. The Highways department have been extremely supportive of our efforts to establish a junior race and the Sherpa bus scheme have provided our free bus service for the last 3 years.
This year, we have the added support of the Environment and planning department with our new recycling initiatives.

National Trust
The National Trust is entirely responsible for the concept of this race. The Marathon was organised by members of their staff for 24 years and continues to have its support. Money raised by the Snowdonia Marathon is still donated to the Snowdonia Appeal and, therefore, continues to help local, countryside causes.

Ransacker have probably been our most significant new sponsors for 2008. They have been the major force behind our new green initiatives and have encouraged us with new ideas and incentives to make the Snowdonia Marathon as ethical as possible.
TM Sheep Poo Paper
Well, fancy that! A certificate made entirely of sheep poo. Where else but in Wales could that happen? We are truly pleased to be giving out runners this special feature of the Welsh countryside to take home with them.
SIS - Science In Sport
SIS will be providing the energy drinks for all of our feed stations this year. They will also be providing special deals for our runners through their website. Pete Bland Sports will be at our event centre over the weekend to provide extra nutritional advice.

For the second consecutive year, Suunto will be providing race prizes The first man and woman will receive watches worth over £100.
