First Hydro Company

First Hydro has been a been major supporter of the Snowdonia Marathon for a number of years. Without their support it would have been very difficult for us to establish Marathon Eryri Cyf. They contribute to a number of local events and we are grateful to them for their continued involvement in our race.

Gwynedd County Council

Gwynedd Council have helped us for many years in a number of ways. The support of the Events Commission was a great help in developing the race over the last few years. The Highways department have been extremely supportive of our efforts to establish a junior race and the Sherpa bus scheme have provided our free bus service for the last 3 years.

This year, we have the added support of the Environment and planning department with our new recycling initiatives.

National Trust

The National Trust is entirely responsible for the concept of this race. The Marathon was organised by members of their staff for 24 years and continues to have its support. Money raised by the Snowdonia Marathon is still donated to the Snowdonia Appeal and, therefore, continues to help local, countryside causes.
