About The Race
Junior Races
There are junior races for under 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18's, age on the first of January 2007.
Entries for the junior race will be on the day at the race HQ in Llanberis community centre. All juniors will be given a goody bag, prizes will be awarded to category winners. Entry is free to local juniors (living in Gwynedd) and £2 to all others.
Junior start details are as follows:
Under 8, 10, 12 - start at 10.45 from Llanberis
Under 14, 16, 18 - start at 10.50 from Nant Peris (Senior race start)
Please can you try and arrive 20 minutes prior to the start of your race for a warm up with one of our specialist coaches.
Our junior race is twinned with the Smarna Gora mountain race in Slovenia and for 2 years we have been running an exchange between the two. Some of Slovenia’s most promising young runners come over to race here in Wales and local juniors from Menai track and Field travel to Slovenia to try and seek their revenge!
