FAQs
Q. What is the course time limit?
Participants must begin the marathon during the official start and complete the marathon course within 10 hours. However there is a cut off time of 3.30 pm in Waenfawr.
Q. Where does the Snowdonia Marathon start and finish?
A. The race starts in Nant Peris and finishes in Llanberis.
Q. When will I receive my confirmation letter?
A. All online entrants are sent a confirmation email immediately. Postal entrants may take a little longer but are normally processed within 7 days of receipt.
Q. Where is the Expo being held?
A. Event HQ is at the Community Centre in Llanberis. Presentation is at the First Hydro Building (next door). Post race celebration venue to be confirmed.
Q. Where will I collect my race pack?
A. Packs are available at registration, coasters will be given out at the finish. Registration will run from 10 am Friday until 11 pm and will open again at 6.30 am Saturday morning until 9.30 am.
Q. When will the marathon results be available?
A. Results will be available as the runners come in. They will be on line (on our site) by early Sunday evening. Runners that have given their mobile phone numbers will be texted with their individual times shortly after the race.
Q. Have I been accepted?
A. If your name appears on the Entry List this means that you have been accepted and your entry confirmed into the marathon. Congratulations!
Q. What will I receive when I finish the marathon?
A. All marathon runners will receive a goodie bag and refreshments in the tea tent.
Q. Do you transport baggage from the start to the finish?
A. Yes we do, we would ask that you bring your own weather proof bags, clearly marked with your name, telephone number and race number.
