About The Race
Directions
Our race HQ is in Llanberis from which a free bus service will transport you to the race start in Nant Peris. The race finishes in Llanberis which is located 66 miles from Chester, 103 miles from Manchester and 270 miles from London.
Getting to Llanberis:
Access to Llanberis is easy. It's only about one hour from the M56 which joins the A55 and it's less than 15 minutes from the A55 itself.
Just follow the A55 west along the North Wales coast. There are substantial white on brown signs marking the Llanberis turn off (Junction 11). From here turn left onto the A5 and then sharp right onto the A4244. From the Midlands travel along the historic A5 from the M54. From the South you can take the scenic A470.
As part of our Green Initiative we want to encourage all visitors to reduce their carbon emissions by decreasing the cumulative amount of miles driven to our event. One way of this is to share a lift with a fellow runner or spectator. Thanks to the wonders of the web you can now find fellow travelers at www.liftshare.com. Just post a listing to share space in your car or look for space if you need a ride.
